Maximizing
the System
WINPARK
assumed management of the Howell
Building Garage in 1999. We focused our
attention on eliminating loop holes in the existing
revenue control system and marketing the
garage within its local impact area.
Control
Within the first weeks, we
identified and closed a number of loopholes
in both the cashiered parking and the contract parking
systems. Some of our actions resulted in the termination
of long-standing and, perhaps, intentional fraud.
Marketing
Marketing efforts, like special rates and flyers increased
garage occupancy and revenue.
Free-standing signs advertised
early-bird specials. Aesthetics
Special attention was paid to garage aesthetics making the
garage a more inviting place that
projects a safe, clean and pleasant
environment.
